LARRY HAWTHORNE jedoch hat sein Handwerk von der Pike auf gelernt. Schon mit fünf Jahren gewann er einen Tanzwettbewerb, der ihm einen Auftritt mit dem legendären “Godfather of Soul” James Brown einbrachte und ihn noch heute voller Stolz zurückblicken lässt. Angetrieben von diesem Erlebnis tanzte er mit Freunden und seinen Cousins auf der Straße Freestyle- und Breakdance, nebenher nahm er noch Violinen Unterricht. Die Freude daran war jedoch nicht von langer Dauer, denn LARRY'S Sportgeist war größer, weshalb es niemand wunderte, dass er zahlreiche Auszeichnungen in der Leichtathletik und Stipendien in American Football erhielt.

 

Trotzdem verlor der Junge aus Flint/Michigan nie seine musikalische Seite aus den Augen, arbeitete ständig an seiner Stimme und schrieb Lyrics, die er aus seinem lebendigen Leben griff. Der Golfkrieg nahm ihm einen seiner liebsten Cousins, was sich gravierend in seinen melancholischen Lyrics widerspiegelt. Doch trotz dieser Ereignisse ist LARRY HAWTHORNE ein positiver Mensch geblieben, der die Welt mit offenen, aber auch stets kritischen Augen betrachtet.

In den vergangenen Jahren hat LARRY viel Erfahrung im Musik Geschäft sammeln können. Unzählige Auftritte mit namhaften Künstlern ließen ihn stetig reifen und für konstruktive Kritik seiner Mitstreiter hat er immer ein offenes Ohr.

 

Mit seiner neuen Veröffentlichung “One More Try“, einer einfühlsamen Ballade, der es nicht an Gefühl und Groove fehlt, ist er der Profiliga einen gewaltigen Schritt näher gekommen.

The music business every year throws countless artists on the market. Most of them are hyped because of their appearance, "One-Hit Wonder" in the name of such a professional appearance. LARRY HAWTHORNE has learned his trade from scratch. At five years, he won a dance competition, winning a chance to dance with the legendary "Godfather of Soul" James Brown and he still proudly looks back it.

Moved by this experience he danced with his friends and cousins on the street by freestyle and breakdancing, during his youth music had such a dominate side he took violin lessons. Peer pressure forced LARRY to divert from the violin and invite sports into his life. LARRY'S sporting spirit was bigger and so was his determination and potential in it that it surprised no one that he received numerous awards in athletics as well as scholarship offers in American Football and Athletics.

Nevertheless, the lost boy from Flint / Michigan never his musical spirit. In his spare time he worked steadily on his voice and wrote lyrics from his life’s experiences. During his stint in the Gulf War he found out that that a bullet took him of his favorite cousins life and through this time of depression his lyrics changed, which the pain in its melancholy lyrics reflected.

Yet despite these events LARRY’s positive outlook in life remained; however the lyrics metaphorically were used to open critical eyes. In recent years, Larry has gained a lot of experience in the music business absorbing all he can collect. Numerous performances with renowned artists allowed him mature and constructive criticism by his musical colleagues. Listening to compliments as well as constructive criticism always with an open ear burned deep in LARRY as continue to learn and improve his craft. With his new release "One More Try," a sensitive ballad, which captures the soul and emotions due to betrayal and forgiveness of relationship.

Larry Hawthorne hatte die beste Live-Performance die ich je gesehen hatte in Jahr 2007. Unser Radio hat die Reaktion der Publikum bei seiner Live-Performance nicht erwarten. Larry Hawthorne had the best live performance I had seen in the year 2007. Our radio station did not expect the reaction of the audience from his live performance for an event from us. Not many singers can reach their audience with the level performance that Larry performs with. It is definitely not a waste of money to see him, he's freely gives so much energy for the people to enjoy.
